Love Memory Box Dies!

Evening Girlz!

I bought another Memory Box die from Craft Capers in Nanaimo a couple of weeks ago.  An idea popped into my head tonight and I went with it!  This is the outcome...

I started by using the die to cut the door out twice.  Once in Red and another in cream.  Its hard to tell by the photo that the house trim is cream and the siding is a glittery brown.  Anyway, I cut the cream door out of the trim and added the cut out red door instead.  The siding was done with my scor board and the just a touch of brown Distress ink to make the scor lines show a bit better.

The wreath was made using the MS pine punch, the door knob is a brad and the snow is done with this new tube of stuff called Snow Writer from Decoart.  It dries nice and bright white!

There isn't a real recipe for this one... trial and error!  Have fun with it!

Baby On The Way!

I'm back again!  Terry's  oldest son and his wife are expecting their first child in January.  Yes, its a girl!

One thing I have been busy with is doing a baby quilt that can hang on the wall in the nursery.  Here is the finished product...

I am trying to get a copy of a photo that really shows the beautiful pinks and mint greens.  I made the shower cards to go with all of the gifts from the C.River gang.  They are...

This card was done using my Cricut.  It wasn't a card pattern and I had to do many layers to make it turn out and stand up!

I cut many of the pieces for this one using the Cricut as well. I CASEd a card I saw on Pinterest (I love Pinterest!)  and it originated from the Just Rite stamp site.  I changed it up a wee bit.

I used left over pieces of paper to do this one and stitched them together.  The block letters are from the Cricut as well.

Thats it for tonight... naaaa.. I will do one more!  See you on the flip side!

Autumn Is My Favourite!

I designed this card a little bit ago and liked it so much that I couldn't give it away haha!  I used Distress Inks for the background and then stamped the leaves and added Perfect Pearls.  It is hard to see but the layer is actually a high gloss gold cardstock I bought at Crafty Capers in Nanaimo.  Victoria is such an enabler!

This is a quick but very rich looking (in real life) card.  And yes, I made more so that I couldn't keep my favourite one!

Thanks for looking!

Distress Christmas Tags

Evening Chicks!

I see that Blogger is letting me post again!  Woo Hoo!  Thank you to all of my friends who checked in to see if I was still alive and prayers that I get better.  I didnt, and never will get better but the larger dose of daily drugs is making it a bit more bearable.

Okay... now to the tags!

I purchased the Tim Holtz pointsettia die last week and pulled it out the other night after my brain was wanting to do some experimenting.  The pieces were punched out of cream cardstock and everything was gone over with Distress inks.  I have the recipe below.

Where Has The Time Gone?

Howdy Chicks!

Where has the time gone?

I have been creating cards but not on a daily basis like before.  Why didnt I post them?  Well... while I was hurting and resting, Blogger went and changed the format.  I have a bunch of new posts just sitting as drafts because I couldnt figure out how to post them while having a headache!

Sooooo... Once again, this is a test and if it works I will post the Christmas tags I made the other night and I am darned proud of them!

See you soon1
